FRANS GOURMET SASSY SAUCES............ "ONLY THE VERY BEST WILL DO!" We just found out that our Fran's Sassy Salsa: PEACH SALSA has won SECOND PLACE in THE HOT PEPPER 2007 SALSA CONTEST!!
Welcome to Fran's Gourmet Sassy Sauces Website! We have finally gotten the recipes right and have found the perfect co-packer in Connecticut to make up the five different recipes for us.The first salsa we have produced is our original "chunky" tomato based salsa recipe that is now over 25 years old. It is a rich chunky style tomato salsa with a mild hotness so it can be enjoyed by everybody! The second salsa in the mix is a Black Bean & Corn Salsa that took a lot of experimenting to get to the right hotness level that New Englander's love. Our third recipe is a delicious Peach Salsa that was first produced in the spring of 2007. We have the perfect mixture of fresh ingredients that will leave you wanting to open that next tasty jar! Jam packed with plenty of peaches! Peaches are our #1 ingredient!Phew, our fourth salsa is out. MANGO salsa!! We experimented all last summer trying to find the right Mango supplier. It may even be better than our Peach Salsa, you decide! Once again, Mango is the #1 ingredient! We just released our newest salsa: HABANERO LIME! HOT! HOT! HOT! Everybody was telling us we needed a hotter salsa and here it is! We started experimenting with Scotch Bonnet peppers but decided to go with the Habanero Pepper because it was much easier to maintain the right quality control because the Habanero Pepper is so popular right now.The new labels have also been produced and printed. Many thanks to our graphic designer, Avery Maniscalco of Princeton, Massachusetts. We are on our third generation of labels now!Check out the list of retail stores to find a shop near you!We are looking for a sixth product! Please let us know what you would like to see as our next addition. Pineapple? Thai? Curry?Local weather here in Haverhill, Massachusetts! |
